Christmas Day would seem like an appropriate day to discuss a guiding coalition. A new OctopOSS project will need a large stakeholder body to be highly organised and excited about the project’s outcomes, not just at project commencement, but through the dramas along the way. This requires you to build a clan that shares the vision and will actively espouse the vision to all parts of the company who will be impacted by the OctopOSS and beyond. It also means taking input from the masses and involving them in the vision, bringing them into the clan
