Loud and clear, being a successful leader in OSS comes through learning, teaching and ultimately growing others. The OctopOSS has too many tentacles for a lone genius person to do it all.

Looking back, virtually everyone I’ve encountered in the OSS industry has had so much talent and capacity for growth. As such, being the virtuoso leader will clearly limit the potential output of the team in most situations.

If you are a virtuoso, demonstrate your awesomeness through your ability to grow others not just your aura. 😀
