NetCracker Technology announced that Lightower Fiber Networks will upgrade to NetCracker 9.0 in order to improve its network resource visualization and accelerate network planning for its high-performance networking solutions.
Lightower Fiber is among the largest pure fiber network providers in the United States. The service provider utilizes NetCracker’s resource inventory solution to manage its 20,000 mile, all-fiber network, which serves more than 7,500.
Upgrading to NetCracker 9.0 will enable graphical views of floor space, rack space, metro Ethernet topology, Ethernet ring, and DWDM in order to visualize resource inventory, improve network planning and optimization, and improve Lightower’s planning abilities.
